Auto Diagnose AI provides AI-generated diagnostic suggestions for informational purposes only. Having a qualified, licensed mechanic inspect your vehicle directly is always the best and most reliable course of action, and Auto Diagnose AI does not replace a professional in-person diagnosis. AI suggestions may be inaccurate or incomplete. Auto Diagnose AI is not responsible for any misdiagnosis, or for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use of this app or any repairs you perform.

Data We Collect

  • • Vehicle information you enter (year, make, model, engine)
  • • Diagnostic session data including symptoms, responses, and AI-generated results
  • • Account information such as your email address when you sign in
  • • Mileage and driving patterns you enter for maintenance and health-check recommendations
  • • Shop reviews you voluntarily submit
  • • Location data only when you use the Shop Finder feature (not stored permanently)
  • • Contact details (email or phone) you provide for paid "Ask a Mechanic" questions so we can send your answer
  • • Payment data is handled by our payment provider (Base44 Payments); we never store full card numbers

How We Use Your Data

  • • To provide personalized AI-powered vehicle diagnostics
  • • To save your vehicles for faster future diagnoses
  • • To display community shop reviews relevant to your area
  • • To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models
  • • We do not sell your personal data to third parties

AI & Third-Party Services

Auto Diagnose AI uses AI language models to generate diagnostic suggestions. Your vehicle descriptions and symptom data may be processed by these AI services to generate responses. Diagnostic prompts are anonymized where possible. We also use mapping services to help locate nearby repair shops.

AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional automotive advice. Results may not be accurate for all vehicle configurations.

Your Rights

  • • You may delete your saved vehicles at any time from the app
  • • You may request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • • You may opt out of diagnostic session data being used for AI improvement
  • • You have the right to access a copy of the data we hold about you

Terms of Use

By using Auto Diagnose AI, you agree to:

  • • Use the app for personal, non-commercial vehicle diagnostics only
  • • Not misuse or attempt to reverse-engineer the AI diagnostic system
  • • Submit honest and accurate shop reviews based on real experiences
  • • Acknowledge that diagnostic results are suggestions only and not guaranteed
  • • Accept that Auto Diagnose AI is not responsible for repair outcomes
